kidsunlimited was established in 1983 by husband and wife team Jean and Stewart Pickering in Cheshire after they were unable to find childcare to match their exacting standards. They put in place a strategy that focused heavily on providing a stimulating environment for all children in their care.
Our enduring philosophy is that every child deserves to be cared for in an engaging environment by dedicated and caring individuals. From just one nursery in 1983 we now operate 59 childcare nurseries across the UK. In 2004 kidsunlimited launched Childcare Vouchers following demand from companies and parents searching for a Childcare Voucher scheme that provided exceptional customer service, bespoke employee engagement, support and simple administration. We provide Childcare Voucher schemes for some of the largest financial services, logistics, pharmaceutical and retail companies in the UK, in addition to several hundred small and medium sized businesses.
Continuing in our founders' commitment to innovation in 2009 kidsunlimited launched kidsunlimited Wellbeing Services, a unique and integrated support package designed to provide guidance, assistance and peace of mind to parents to help with the challenges of raising a family.
