Sales Consultant
Core Responsibilities
Generating sales and online sign up of SME clients through leads both from existing data acquired by KU and also self generated from online research. Adding leads generated and updating existing contacts on Sales System and developing into an effective sales pipeline. This role involves being responsible for the end to end sales and fulfilment process including:
- Sign up of the client and liaising with finance over invoicing.
- Ensuring employees complete online application forms
- Capturing all client data, such as payroll cut off dates and voucher delivery dates and logging them on the systems.
- Management of client expectations throughout the sales process through excellent communication.
- Responsible for account managing the client going forwards and ensuring year on year renewal.
- Communicating pre-prepared marketing material to the client.
- When working to self generate leads it is essential to work smart in ensuring they meet our pre-determined demographic target audience.

Key Area, Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop a technical understanding of Childcare Vouchers through research and training.
- Learn and develop an understanding of the employee benefits market place that Childcare Vouchers operate
- Engage with corporate clients and their employees.
- The role is primarily an office based role, although as part of your development you will be required to attend external meetings, events. or training sessions
- Develop understanding of the in-house IT and transaction processing systems.
- Perform office duties including data processing scanning, supervising the internal and the distribution of external/internal correspondence
- Perform Ofsted and Childcare Approval Scheme checks
- Precise record keeping
- Remaining compliant with the Data Protection Act
- Complete a Modern Apprenticeship in Business Administration
Skills and Qualifications
- GCSE Maths and English Grades A-C
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent data recording skills
- Organised and efficient
- Competent IT skills, familiar with Microsoft Office packages
Personal Qualities
No experience necessary but you will need to be highly motivated with a positive attitude. A willingness to learn is absolutely essential.
You will be a team player, but also be able to work on your own initiative.
